The New Prada Paragon Boutique Is More Elevated Than Ever

The Prada Paragon Singapore boutique has reopened with a much bigger space and with more private rooms

Prada has been a part of Paragon, Singapore's tenant mix for close to 30 years now, with a storefront that's part of the mall's façade. One would probably notice the pastel green colour of the store's entrance before the brand name—and now, it's bigger than ever.

The newly reopened boutique still retains its ground floor unit at Paragon, Singapore, but has taken over the next couple of units to its left, as well as a second-floor unit right above. This means that the boutique now spans more than 1,200 square metres, stocking Prada's women's and men's collections across ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear, accessories, as well as Prada’s fine jewellery collection.

From the entryway of on the ground floor, the signature black-and-white chequered marble floor is inspired by the original Prada boutique in Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The pastel green colour from the façade continues on throughout the interior of the boutique such that it feels like it's almost entirely drenched in the hue. Walk further in and to the left, a black staircase leads up to the new second-floor portion of the boutique, a large LED screen greeting guests halfway through. The floor opens up with rosewood furnishings and velvet seating, especially around the selection of homewear pieces near the staircase. But it's also here that the expanded boutique offers a more exclusive experience.

What's special about the second floor of the Prada Paragon boutique is array of private rooms—four to be exact. They're located towards the back of the second floor, nearer to large windows that face Orchard Road. All four as interconnected in some ways, but can also be segmented with cleverly designed screens and doors. These spaces have been designed for more personal and intimate discoveries of collections the likes of the fine jewellery collections, Prada's made-to-measure possibilities, as well as the more exclusive red carpet-ready designs.

Sure, there may not be a Prada Caffè like the one at ION Orchard. But if you're looking for a more exclusive, elevated shopping experience, the Prada Paragon boutique is where you should be gravitating towards.
