God, I love when two brands come together for an unlikely—yet perfect—collaboration. It's been a second since we've had one as good as this. Hoka and Marni just announced, on 4 April. The cult-favourite running shoe brand and the Italian luxury label are dropping the dopest dad shoe on the market.

It's chunky. It's puffy. It's slightly kitschy but in a fashionable way. It's a true maximalist vibe. The codesigned Bondi B3LS is the kind of bright, playful shoe you'd expect from Marni, with all the performance specs you trust from Hoka.

"Collaborating with HOKA has been exhilarating—an exchange of energy where their technical mastery met Marni's instinct for shape, colour, and emotion," said Francesco Risso, creative director of Marni, in a press release. "Together, we've created a bold, totemic design–sculpted a shoe that is a fearless expression of movement, volume, and identity."

These might not be the sneakers you'll actually want to take on a run. They cost USD395, for starters, but you could, if you had to. The design employs Hoka's signature responsive rubber sole, along with cushioned EVA soles and a padded polyester upper for added comfort. Each shoe comes with three pairs of laces, so you can customise the look, too. One monochrome flat lace; one tone-on-tone rope lace; and one brighter, multi-coloured wide lace for a contrasted look.

Bondi B3LS

Clearly, a chunky, puffy pair of kicks is the vibe for '25. Thomas Cykana, the senior director of global collaborations and partnerships at Hoka, described this collaboration as "a natural intersection of running and fashion," with the Bondi B3LS being a "dramatically exaggerated and maximalist expression... as an embodiment of that shared vision."

The sneakers are set to drop in four colourways. Poinciana (red), Bracken (charcoal), Tourmaline (blue), and Straw (beige) will be available online starting 4 April. If we know anything about these two brands, it's that the Bondi B3LS is gonna sell out fast. I'll race ya to the checkout page.
