Same ol' story—another weekend, another SFW. But don't worry, we've got you covered with some seriously good shiii (as always, duh.) Whether you're looking for unique experiences (like tech taking over the world), mouthwatering eats, or thrilling performances with a high chance of getting wasted, woohoo! We've got a handpicked list of the best activities to keep you entertained all weekend long.
Tony Award Winners Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss wrote a college play so successful it took to the international circuit, along with sweeping 35 major awards. Direct from West End and Broadway, SIX spotlights the one thing that gave King Henry VIII notoriety—his wives. All six get a chance to vocalise their bit on the historical misgivings of their husband, but this time with flair. It's impressive vocal range, funny dialogue and basically a pop concert if the infamous wives of English monarchy could form a girl band. The people who rave about it are right, so do catch its highly limited run here. (If you need a quick Tudor recap, here's a cheat sheet)

Four-hands are a dime a dozen. A match of two distinct cuisines that we're huge fans of? Less so. Michelin-starred Chef Takagi Kazuo, famed for his traditional Kyoto-style craft, is in town to finally collaborate with The St. Regis' Chef Fabio Granata after years of professional friendship.
We must say this marks one of the rare times where every course is a hit. It's a relay of smashing turns the chefs take, with hints themed to the season. Seabream molded as a beautiful tsubaki (camelias signal winter's arrival in Japan), a fantastic ravioli showcasing the best produce of Fall, and a delicate wagyu grilled to —no exaggeration— absolute perfection. The exclusive menu is presented in a four-course lunch and six-course dinner, with wine pairing from SGD208 for the latter.

Don't panic. Everything from the iconic art deco facade to the eclectic David Bromley interiors remains. The difference comes in an updated menu with more local influences. A cocktail if Laksa was a tipple, incredibly tender pork belly skewers, and for an establishment known for bestselling burgers (still on the menu thankfully), a pretty damn decent 200g Beef Steak are all part of what you can expect. Now, if you're concerned about standards, there's no change to management and team (breathe easy, Potato Head is still backing this joint).
A good time to get reacquainted is amid the weekend's host of parties. Friday's Afro-electronic beats with KNRCK, Saturday of deep house and disco with Taz Angullia, and Sunday for a high-energy genre blend by Ed Temple, Vio PRG, Renate Berlin and Refuge Worldwide.

Misa (Mone Kamishiraishi), who suffers from extreme premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and Takatoshi (Hokuto Matsumura), who grapples with panic disorder, develop a touching platonic connection as they navigate their personal struggles.
While these conditions may often be dismissed as trivial, the film uncovers their deeper impact—highlighting the importance of understanding and empathy. If you're looking for something thought-provoking this weekend, this might be it. The Substance by French filmmaker Coralie Fargeat offers a gripping dive into ambition, vulnerability and the social pressures shaping our lives. Starring Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley, this isn't just entertainment; it's an intense, emotionally resonant experience that feels both personal and universal. Carolie's direction brings each character's journey to life with personal performances and stunning cinematography, making it hard to look away. Not to hype it up too much but just saying, this could be my favourite film all-year-long.
I won't spoil too much so I'll just leave you on a cliff-hanger. The Substance explores the choices we make, leaving viewers with plenty to reflect on, and probably grossed out too—in a good way, of course. So don't miss it—this film will linger with you long after the credits roll (it's still lingering after watching it last week.)

It’s time to start getting your feet wet for Halloween, so why not get it wet at Singapore’s first and only horror house to be hosted fully underground. Located in the former Far East Command Centre under Fort Canning, the bunker spans 12,000 square feet and will transform into a World War II-themed nightmare. Here’s the story: set in 1942, British army officers turn to an ancient summoning book as a desperate last attempt at defending themselves against the Japanese army. This, of course, unleashes demons, setting the stage for your adventure. Your job is to work with strangers in a group of 8 to 9 people to navigate the underground labyrinth and collect eight hidden cards, subduing the demon.
What truly sets Underground: The Summoning apart from the typical horror houses is its commitment to immersion. Not only is the experience much more substantial, being 45 minutes long, it also takes place in a genuine military bunker, creating an atmosphere no artificial set could replicate. The lighting is carefully managed and you’re placed in unique scenarios that go beyond simple jumpscares. I won’t divulge too much, but if you make it to the end, there’s a neat little gimmick that’ll really catch you off guard.
