Hot off its announcement as the Official Timekeeper of F1 and the reveal of its new campaign, "Design to Win", TAG Heuer takes another lap as it present its novelties for 2025. The novelty theme for this year is to strengthen its association with F1.
If some of the timepieces seem familiar that's because last year, TAG Heuer worked with Ronnie Feig from Kith to revive the Formula 1 Series 1 model. For this outing, we see the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph line gets upsize to the case size to a 38mm. The finishing is a sandblasted steel with a diamond-like carbon coating and is operated by a Solargraph movement, where the battery is recharged by the sun or artificial light.
Still recognisable by its distinctive “décroché", which swings between a sporty look to something worn for a night out of town, it's also ergonomically sound as it sits on a great variety of wrist sizes. The indexes are treated with Super-LumiNova; the TAG Heuer logo is embossed onto a rubber strap.
You have three pieces (black and white, deep blue or bold red dials) that form the core collection, while the rest of the six watches are limited-editions; each that will be released throughout the rest of the year. (Pssst, the blue watch with a white dial will be released during Singapore's F1 season.)
Rounding up the novelty releases are the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph | F1, TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date and TAG Heuer Carrera Date Twin-Time pieces. The Carrera Day-Date and the Carrera Date Twin-Time are called "success watches" because Jack Heuer would gift an engraved Carrera to every new Ferrari driver. Both the TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date and TAG Heuer Carrera Date Twin-Time feature refined case geometry, upgraded ergonomics, quick-change bracelets, and in-house TH31 movements. The Carrera Day-Date is available in five dials and three straps, while the Carrera Date Twin-Time has a dual-time functionality with a teal dial.
To commemorate its return as F1's Official Timekeeper, TAG Heuer releases the Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph | F1, an ultra-exclusive timepiece that's limited to 10 pieces. Within its lightweight ceramic and sapphire crystal case is the Calibre TH81-00 split-seconds chronograph movement, which allows for simultaneous timing of multiple intervals; how apt for the demands of racing.
