Paying tribute to the esteemed late designer, The Virgil Abloh Archive is a project that sets out to preserve his work over the years, but also to give his many devoted fans another chance to purchase some of his legendary designs.
The first release from the archive was announced earlier this month: the Virgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan 1 High OG "Alaska" is a reissue of the coveted Off-White collaboration with Nike from 2018, which was originally exclusive to Europe. Set for an official release on 28 March, they have already sent sneakerheads into a complete frenzy.
Read on for our round-up of the best things to buy from the Virgil Abloh Archive shop, including details of how to buy the Virgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan 1 High OG "Alaska".

Designed to celebrate the occasion of the Air Jordan High OG's reissue, this hand-dyed cotton tee features an archival gradient print designed by Virgil Abloh and a 'modernism is now new' hand-sketch on the front. On the back, there's a compass graphic and a list of participating cities. This limited T-shirt costs EUR66.95.

The first printed publication from the archive, it contains a collection of features and interviews from a range of magazines that offer fans an insight into Abloh's creative process. It's a must-have for fans, and though the first printing has sold out, they have announced that additional copies will be made, at the same price of EUR48.95.

If you're looking to get in on the hype of the archive, but perhaps don't have the money to splash on the sneakers, or a tee, then this EUR35.95 cap might be the best option for you.

A remake of the 2017 "OFF CAMPUS" tee designed by Virgil Abloh, this features a hand-drawn Nike 'logo' on the upper left side of the chest, with the archive's logo on the right. It's a subtle graphic tee that gently nods at Abloh's signature 'switch-it-up-just-a-little' style.

The highly-anticipated release is finally on the way, and will be available for purchase on Saturday 28th–but if you're hoping to get a pair, then you'll need to act now. Through the Canary Yellow official website, which now handles all the retail for the archive, you can now enter the raffle for the chance to purchase the sneakers, which will cost EUR200.

Similar to the rainbow-gradient colour featuring the same slogan, this EUR61.95 tee is perfect if you're seeking a more muted and minimal way to pay tribute to the late designer's philosophy.
