It’s been a busy year for Penfolds. Exploring unprecedented lands with Domaine de la Chapelle and wrapping up a fruitful partnership with an esteemed Japanese mind are just some of the international endeavours the Australian winery has embarked on. The final bow on this annum’s creative efforts is the global release of Penfolds Postal Service.
On theme with the holidays and Santa’s iconic frock, the brand’s crimson hue is almost made for the season. We already know Penfolds never fails on sexy packaging, but this makes a modern Saint Nick out of any gifter. Perfectly retro envelope stamps, pneumatic tubes, and that sleek shipping container design are all elements of these limited-edition collectables.
Destinations include the revered wine regions of Australia, the United States of America, France and China. Each is distinctive in its produce yet inherently connected by Penfolds House Style.
Bin 600 California Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz marks a Californian expression of a signature Penfolds blend of Cabernet and Shiraz, while FWT 585 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Petit Verdot represents the best of Bordeaux vineyards in a bold French Winemaking Trial. CWT 521 Cabernet Sauvignon Marselan captures Shangri-La and Marselan from Ningxia in all its climate, altitude and attitude.
Finally, Bin 389 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz was first created by Penfolds legend–who also happens to be the creator of Grange–Max Schubert. Nicknamed “Baby Grange” because components are matured in the same barrels that were home to previous vintages of the range, it’s perfect for the Grange-ly curious.
There’s nothing quite like the anticipation of a shipment or the excitement of receiving a hand-delivered parcel. When presents abound, and wine makes its rounds, one dispatched by the Penfolds’ finesse is a special delivery indeed.

From Penfolds to the World is available for a limited time at Cold Storage, Paragon, Great World City, NTUC FairPrice Xtra VivoCity, and select fine wine retail stores.
