The low-down from the South Korean tech giant.
Published: 8 September 2025

Since its last Galaxy Unpacked—when Samsung gave us its thinnest smartphone: the Galaxy S25 Edge—the tech giant announced four more additions to its smartphone, tablet and accessory lines at its recent Galaxy Event. Come 12 September, consumers can expect an entry S25 phone, two tablets and earbuds. Enough preamble, let's get to it.

Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

Headlining the launch was the Galaxy S25 FE. Positioned as the brand's most affordable entry in the S25 series, you'll get all the basic features of the S25 phones without breaking the bank. In order words, more bang (features) for your buck (uh, money). You've a bigger 4,900mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging, a larger vapour chamber for better thermal management, a 6.7-inch 120Hz display (6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display), and a triple-lens rear camera.

Running on One UI 8, the S25 FE brings Samsung’s AI tools to the fore. Some of the camera AI features include Generative Edit, which can remove unwanted objects from photos, Audio Eraser, which removes background noise in videos and Portrait Studio that creates realistic avatars (hello uncanny valley!).

The FE edition keeps things sleek and lightweight with a new Armour Aluminium frame and a adds both durability and refinement. Expect the phone to be available in a palette of bold colours—Navy, Jet Black, Icy Blue and White.

Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra

Joining the S25 FE are two new tablets: the Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The Tab S11 comes in at 11 inches, while the Ultra stretches out to 14.6 inches (the latter is also thinnest tablet from Samsung's stable, measuring at 5.1mm). Both are powered by a new 3nm chipset (faster processing) and has improvements to Samsung’s DeX desktop mode. There's also the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that reaches 1600 nits of peak brightness, ensuring vivid visuals both indoors and out. And because AI is everywhere, the tablets are built on the power of Galaxy AI and One UI 8.

Enhanced Samsung DeX takes tablet productivity further with Extended Mode. This feature lets users run DeX across both the tablet and an external monitor, enabling drag-and-drop multitasking between screens. You can create up to four customised workspaces, each tailored for different needs such as work, creative projects, and fan fiction.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Series introduces a new S Pen. It now has a cone-shaped tip for increased tilt control and a hexagonal body for greater comfort... and yes, it does look and feel like you're holding a pencil. Features like Quick Tools and Sticky Note allow for instant adjustments and jotting down thoughts directly within Samsung Notes—no app-switching required.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11 will be available in two finishes: Grey and Silver.

Galaxy Buds3 FE

Another enticing price point for a piece of Samsung hardware—the Galaxy Buds3 FE. It comes with a striking Blade design and all the hallmarks of Samsung’s audio innovation: enhanced Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), upgraded call clarity, intuitive controls, and seamless Galaxy AI integration.

Delivering punchy bass and crisp treble, there's also the improved ANC that drowns out the chaos of city life. Call quality has also had an upgrade: Crystal Clear Call technology uses a machine learning model to filter out background noise, while repositioned microphones—angled closer to the mouth—ensure clarity of your voice.

Design-wise, the Blade stems let you pinch to select or swipe to adjust volume, while the charging cradle includes a dedicated pairing button for instant connection. Auto Switch ensures the Buds3 FE glide effortlessly between Galaxy devices. Our favourite feature is having the Buds3 FE pair with the Galaxy AI Interpreter app, which allows for real-time translation.
