MINI and Paul Smith have joined forces to create the MINI Paul Smith Edition, a collection that celebrates two iconic British brands united by a commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation. The MINI x Paul Smith edition brings the designer’s signature design language “classic with a twist” to the MINI Cooper 3-door, 5-door, and MINI Cooper Convertible, offering a fresh take on British automotive style.
The MINI x Paul Smith edition is distinguished by a unique exterior and interior design, featuring three paint options, including two edition-exclusive shades. Statement Grey, inspired by the classic MINI Austin Seven of 1959, offers a modern, bluish-tinted interpretation of a timeless colour. Inspired White pays homage to the iconic Classic Mini Beige, while Midnight Black Metallic provides an elegant, classic option. All variants include subtle Nottingham Green accents applied to side mirrors, the octagonal radiator grille, and one of the two roof colour choices.

The MINI x Paul Smith Edition is further distinguished by numerous signature details: the "Signature Stripe", a hallmark of Paul Smith’s design, graces the roof in Nottingham Green on the rear driver’s side. Alternatively, the Jet Black roof features elegant black stripes in matte and gloss finishes. The MINI Cooper Convertible version comes with a black soft top. Playful touches such as the “hello” projection upon entering the car and Paul Smith’s handwritten inscriptions reflect the collaboration’s optimism and independent spirit.

“This edition is a wonderful opportunity to combine our shared values of creativity and design with MINI’s unmistakable character. New colours and unexpected details will be a welcomed surprise,” says Sir Paul Smith.

Holger Hampf, Head of MINI Design, adds: “MINI and Paul Smith embody a shared mindset of positivity, embracing the motto of this edition: ‘Every day is a new beginning.’” The MINI Paul Smith Edition represents a modern dialogue between MINI’s heritage of spirited driving and Paul Smith’s playful, meticulous approach to design. The world premiere of the edition took place on 29 October at Japan Mobility in Tokyo, marking a new chapter in this long-standing collaboration.
