Some things defy logic. Like walking barefoot to the airplane bathroom. Or texting your ex. Another thing that suspend rational thinking? Singapore-based label Journ with its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, aptly titled “Love Made Me Do It (…and we’d do it again),” which captures that very essence about the beautiful illogicality of love and the way it propels us into motion.
Born from the cycling scene but now stretching far beyond the saddle, Journ blurred the lines between performance and lifestyle. With SS25, the label deepens its hybrid identity, releasing a dual capsule collection that captures the myriad lives of the Journ wearer. From pre-dawn hill climbs to golden-hour gallery hops, this is gear that switches seamlessly between the saddle to the sidewalk.
The SS25 collection is less about speed and more about rhythm. Split into two aesthetic directions—performance and lifestyle—the visuals mirror the emotional cadence of a typical day on two wheels: the grit of the ride, and the soft ease of the after. Crafted with primo Italian fabrics and race-ready engineering, the collection delivers all the technical bits, that actually make you feel like you have your life together (even if you’re running on oat lattes and ambition). With moisture-wicking textures, aerodynamic tailoring, and barely-there seams, each piece is engineered to move with you, not against you.
Georgienne Lee, founder of Journ shares, “We wanted to design something that could live across different parts of your day. Whether you're riding hard or relaxing after, the collection adapts—it's a story, a lifestyle, and a love letter to movement itself.”
The star of the show? The seasonal jersey. This is a wearable ode to spontaneity; it features expressive, painterly strokes that feel like someone took a brush to your heartbeat. It’s not just about looking fast, it’s about feeling everything, all at once. Crafted with care from eco-conscious materials—think recycled fibres and low-impact dyes—it doesn’t just move with you, it moves the conversation forward. Signature touches like concealed zips and reflective trims ensure you’re seen, even long after the sun’s dipped below the horizon.
This June, Journ is going global with a Hyundai Seoul takeover from 16-30 June. Expanding its footprint across Asia with the same grounded enthusiasm that defines its ethos, expect fresh drops from Journ, communal rides, and probably a playlist that makes you cry a little.
