Jackson Wang Works with Hennessy For the Greatest Show on Earth 

One of the biggest cognac houses teamed with one of the biggest acts for a unique collab

I suppose there were arched eyebrows when Hennessy announced that Jackson Wang is its global brand ambassador. While the two parties, at first glance, did not seem like they’d have anything in common but the Franco-Chinois union yielded something eye-catching. 

Wang, being a showman on the stage, brings to Hennessy his magnetic personality with a campaign called “Enter the Show”. The almost-six-minute clip is directed by Paolo Sorrentino and features the extravagance and luxury of that headlong plunge into adventure. It also showcased Hennessy VSOP’s new decanter designed by TEAM WANG, Jackson’s Wang’ streetwear label. 

Wang designed the bottle, inspired by his visit to Hennessy’s historic seat in Cognac, France. Awed by Hennessy’s craftsmanship, he incorporated a playful design that conveys the energy and attraction to the brand. Immersed in the aura of the Founder’s Cellar, Wang painted Hennessy in vibrant hues—white, vibrant red, and gold: white for modernity; vibrant red as a tribute to Hennessy V.S.O.P signature hue; and gold to honour the spirit of showmanship. 

“The limited edition design captures the captivating synergy between heritage and modernity, craft and creativity,” says Nausicaa Charrier, Marketing Director for Moet Hennessy Malaysia and Singapore, “it embodies the essence of modern luxury and showmanship.” And in the process of making the decanter and packaging, the glass is sourced in Cognac and northern France, while the outer packaging includes a wood bottle stopper and using coating-free labels made of recycled paper. 

The taste remains the same but the bottle is a showstopper.
