Hennessy continues its four-year creative journey with global icon and long-time brand ambassador Jackson Wang. This time, the duo came up with the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival Limited Edition collection, which is centred around Asia’s most celebrated festival of togetherness and tea: the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The collab is more than a design exercise. Hennessy’s encounter with tea started way back at the end of the 18th century, when founder Richard Hennessy traded eaux-de-vie alongside shipments of tea. Given the mid-autumnal occasion, that same spirit continues in the redesigns of Hennessy's V.S.O.P and X.O bottles.
With Wang's vision, he reimagines the V.S.O.P carafe in fiery shades of red and orange; the colours sing of versatility and movement, while his idea of the X.O leans into something more sublime—deep amber tones, silver accents, and an embossed frost effect.
We are also given recipes of Wang's favourite serves of the V.S.O.P and X.O. Oooh, we can't wait to see what sort of crazy concoction Wang will deliver. For the former, he introduces the Henny Tea, a cocktail that's a mix of V.S.O.P (40ml), a splash of oolong tea and ice. With the latter, Wang gives us the Signature Serve... which is just the 40ml of X.O served on ice with a splash of sparkling water.

At the end of the day, cognac is what you make of it. Like Asia’s shifting drinking culture or how a package can undergo a visual reinvention, Hennessy's cognac isn’t made for just one thing. It evolves and finds new expression through culture, shared experiences.
And yes, even in inventive cocktails like one that's "served on ice with a splash of sparkling water". How novel.
