Nate Bargatze's opening monologue was a genius start to the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards. As a way of keeping winning speeches to the 45-second time limit, a USD100,000 base donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America became a timekeeping device (and moral compass)—go over and USD1,000 was subtracted from the amount every second, while the reverse happens if speeches go under. Yet, that definitely did not stop award winners from making some noteworthy moments, including Hannah Einbinder's (Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks) pointed closer.

Equally noteworthy were the men's fashion on the red carpet this year. The Emmys 2025 red carpet followed that of the previous editions where more and more male attendees are beginning to stray away from the traditional, opting for more visually interesting styles. Tramell Tillman and Pedro Pascal opted for all-white ensembles that were striking against the red carpet and backdrop, while Jon Gries' Jacquemus fit proved age is no barrier to contemporary style.
