Bell & Ross Gives You the Planets On the Wrist

It's a celestial ballet on the wrist with Bell & Ross's BR-03 ASTRO that reimagines the planets in a 41mm case

Bell & Ross has always been about instruments first, storytelling second. But every so often, the brand drops a timepiece that flips the script. Enter the BR-03 ASTRO—a celestial dance strapped to your wrist; a watch that turns timekeeping into something more poetic, more playful with the planets.

The watch display is supposed to be seen from the Cupola, an observation dome of the International Space Station (ISS). So how do you tell time with this? It's a clever bit of horology: a compact universe in a 41mm case; Earth sits at the center, domed under a sapphire crystal with Mars and the Moon, marking the hours and the minutes, respectively. The tiny satellite zips around the dial, acting as the seconds hand. Bell & Ross’s automatic BR.CAL-327 movement keeps everything running smoothly—no small feat when you’re dealing with a planetary system in miniature.

Of course, with Bell & Ross you'd expect a little ruggedness. The 11.5mm black ceramic case is water-resistant to 100m, and fastened to a black rubber strap with a PVD-coated steel buckle. It’s functional; it’s technical but it’s also a flight of fancy. Limited to 999 pieces, the BR-03 ASTRO isn’t just a watch—it’s a reminder that time, like space, the planets are always in motion.
