Apple's annual software developer hoedown returns 9 June (that'll be our 10 June). From 9–13 June, the Cupertino giant will unite the global congregation of code whisperers, design obsessives, and Swift romantics at the hallowed grounds of Apple Park.

It starts with the Keynote (9 June, 10am PDT / 10 June, 1am SGT), where Tim Cook and company will walk us through the next era of Apple’s platforms. You can stream it here, through Apple TV app, or YouTube. And if you’re not a FOMO-kinda person, there’ll be on-demand playback too.

Then comes the Platforms State of the Union—the more cerebral, under-the-hood showcase for the nerds. That starts at 1 pm PDT / 4 am SGT, where Apple’s engineers showcase the technological leaps made with the iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS platforms.

After that, there will be technical sessions numbering in a little over a hundred. There, Apple’s cadre of experts will walk viewers through frameworks, APIs, and all manner of platform sorcery. If you’re a Developer Programme member (or Enterprise), you’ve also got access to group labs and one-on-one sessions. This is your chance to actually talk to the people who build the tools you use daily.

The Swift Student Challenge returns. We've talked about Jiang Tongyu who was one of the Distinguished Winner last year and this year, 50 Distinguished Winners will traipse about at Apple Park, probably gobsmacked and stimming with excitement.
