The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards have been renamed. Meant to better reflect the" true spirit of the award—"given to actors, by actors"—the Actor Awards 2026 was streamed live on Netflix this morning, Singapore time. The award show is a more concise ceremony than it's other big-named counterparts, with only 15 award categories across both film and television as well as a Life Achievement Award. This year, the latter went to Harrison Ford.

Much like the award shows that have preceded it this season, One Battle After Another, Sinners, and Frankenstein are among the three films that had the most nominations for the evening. At the time of writing, not all of the winners have been announced yet, but Sean Penn has won the ceremony's first win for One Battle After Another.

On the red carpet, the men kept things classic and simple. Suiting was the common dress code for the evening with the degrees of formality varying from black-tie formal to a bit more casual à la Tyler, the Creator who arrived on the red carpet in a look that we'd naturally expect of the entertainer. Man of the moment Connor Storrie of Heated Rivalry attended after a much lauded job hosting Saturday Night Live the evening before, keeping things interesting with a Saint Laurent fit sans shirt and finished with Tiffany & Co. jewellery and watch. Other standouts include Adam Brody's jolt of yellow courtesy of Prada, and another Saint Laurent ensemble, this time, on Paul Mescal.
