Dover Street Market Singapore's Autumn/Winter 2026 store refresh comes with a new addition, A.PRESSE

There has been a number of quiet changes at Dover Street Market Singapore, especially if you haven't visited in a while. For one, the multi-label fashion store is larger, expanding its floorspace towards the roundabout near the building, creating another entrance into the space. And for its latest seasonal refresh, a new brand has made its arrival. Meet A.PRESSE.

Founded in 2021 by Kazuma Shigematsu, A.PRESSE is what you'd expect of Japanese fashion but with an even more obsessive focus on craftsmanship, fabric, and cut. Shigematsu spent his career working in sales and production in the Japanese fashion industry, helping to distribute brands to retailers. That experience honed his understanding of consumer behaviour and the kind of things that people gravitate towards. With A.PRESSE, the intention is to design garments that look and feel exceptional that the hand behind it disappears. You're left with a piece of clothing designed with no gimmicks, and simply exists because it's well thought out and made.

Look through the A.PRESSE Autumn/Winter 2026 collection lookbook and you'd notice the workwear-inspired and tailoring-focused designs. Each design often begins with a specific vintage reference drawn from miltary surplus, American workwear as well as classic tailoring. Japanese fabric processing and finishing techniques are employed to give a lived-in character. But it's when you wear a piece that that difference is felt.

At Dover Street Market Singapore, A.PRESSE is given its own dedicated space and it's one that's hard to miss. Much like the brand, the space is built around texture and restraint with a setting resembling a really chic, mid-century office. Vintage Vladimir Kagan furniture sit atop a green carpet in front of rosewood louvers; next to it is a coat rack by Adolf Loos. The garments are positioned to the sides on custom brass racks, giving each piece enough room to breathe and be experienced up close. And you really do want to experience the brand up close, trust us.
