Loewe proves once again that it’s one of the few brands that can masterfully combine fashion and art. More than just a convivial celebration of the upcoming holidays, the Spanish label’s Spring/Summer 2026 Pre-Collection pays a heartfelt homage to revered artists and its own craftsmanship heritage. Inspired by British artist Louis Wain and his eccentric cat depictions, the collection playfully revamps some of the brand’s newest and most iconic silhouettes with striking metallics, whimsical patterns and experimental textures. Some of the collection’s most memorable pieces include the Medium Blue Flamenco Clutch Cats in embroidered denim—a certified showstopper with its vibrant all-over feline motifs and an effortlessly languid silhouette—as well as familiar shapes like the Puzzle and Amazona crafted in intricate embroidery and trompe l’oeil knit. Beyond bags, the capsule’s ready-to-wear expanded on Loewe’s workwear classics with nappa lambskin jackets, while footwear further highlighted the brand’s love for intricate handworked details through its sculptural Bobine bootie and Petal Anagram sandals.
