Evian’s New Role in Fine Dining

The French water brand is deepening its ties with the world of fine dining, becoming a trusted presence among some of the world’s top chefs

We tend to think of Evian as a really expensive bottle of water but in recent years, the French brand has carved out a deeper role within the world of fine dining. Especially in its native country, France.

From Michelin starred kitchens to luxury hotels, its presence at the table has become ubiquitous. With long standing partnerships across the Michelin Guide in the US, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea and Thailand, the brand is now leaning into its culinary credibility.

To mark this renewed direction, Evian hosted a three day gathering in the idyllic town of Évian les Bains; the brand's home for its natural spring source. Coinciding with the Amundi Evian Championship, the only Major women’s golf event in Continental Europe, Evian ambassador Céline Boutier (and a 2023 Major winner) was present, as was a lineup of global chefs that include Dubai-based British-Nigerian chef Izu Ani; Florence Dalia; and Singapore’s own Sébastien Lepinoy of three-starred Les Amis.

The chefs explored the nuances of water not just as a beverage, but as a vital element in the dining experience. “Evian natural mineral water brings a sense of clarity and precision to the table,” said Chef Dalia. “Its natural purity complements the detail and care in each dish—it’s a thoughtful pairing for refined cuisine.”

But perhaps the most compelling part of the experience was the direct encounter with the source itself. “In just over 48 hours, we saw and experienced so much. It was truly incredible,” shared Lepinoy. “Being at the source, you really begin to understand the purity of Evian water.  I appreciate its quality even more deeply: its high purity, low salt content, and its philosophy not just as a water brand, but as a symbol of health and natural integrity.”
