F1® The Movie—the film that has everyone buzzing about Brad Pitt and Damson Idris piloting million-dollar machines hurtling down race circuits—recently premiered at Cineworld Leicester Square in London.

As the official clothing sponsor of both the fictional team, APXGP, and the film itself, Tommy Hilfiger rallied a few friends of the brand to join global ambassador Damson Idris in celebrating the movie’s release on the red carpet.
Esteemed Singaporean singer-songwriter, JJ Lin, was among the list of names like Patrick Schwarzenegger, Abby Champion, and Becky G. Esquire Singapore got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Lin at the London premiere—and the final outfit that hit the carpet.
Here’s a brief breakdown of the finished look: a white double-breasted blazer layered over a striped button-down shirt. A navy silk tie grounded the outfit, pairing neatly with his tailored trousers. Every piece hails from the Tommy Hilfiger Spring/Summer 2025 Runway Collection. Look closer and you’ll notice the watch, bracelet, sunglasses, and pocket square are all Tommy Hilfiger too.
Beyond the red carpet, the brand also surprised JJ with a custom gift box packed with pieces from The APXGP Collection—a line designed by Tommy Hilfiger for the fictional racing team in F1® The Movie. He unboxed it for Esquire Singapore, revealing a few sharp picks: the Satin Boxy Varsity Jacket, Relaxed Tonal Embroidery Rugby Shirt, and the Relaxed Logo Polo Shirt, just to name a few.
